Unlike standard Bluetooth devices that connect one-to-one, our portable Auracast transmitter & receiver uses Bluetooth LE Audio with Auracast™, allowing one-to-many broadcasting. This means you can stream audio to multiple speakers or headphones at once, or join a broadcast already in progress, whether you’re at home, in the gym, or at a public venue.
The SplitR™ transmitter & receiver is designed to work with virtually any speaker system, including home stereo systems, car audio, portable Bluetooth speakers, and even legacy wired speakers. It supports both 3.5mm aux and RCA connections.
The SplitR+™ is more than a transmitter—it’s a multi-functional smart hub built for next-gen connected audio environments. Yes, it transmits and receives Auracast™ signals like the portable model, but it also includes:
Yes! ConnectR™ can be used without a SplitR™ to access cross-platform music services although we recommend a SplitR™ to fully utilize the features of ConnectR™.
Most consumer devices today do not natively support Auracast, even if they have Bluetooth. For example: No iPhone, including the latest iPhone 17, has Auracast enabled yet—even though iPhone 14 and newer have compatible Bluetooth 5.3 chips. Most MacBooks and Windows laptops—except MacBook Pros from 2023 onward—do not ship with Bluetooth 5.2+, which is required for Auracast. Classic devices like old iPods, early iPhones, MP3 players, and even older stereo systems are entirely incompatible with Auracast out of the box. That’s where our SplitR™ portable transmitter & receiver changes everything. With plug-and-play functionality, SplitR™ allows you to broadcast or receive Auracast audio from ANY device—even if it’s 20 years old.
The SplitR™ transmitter & receiver has a range of up to 90 feet (30 meters) in optimal conditions. The actual range may vary depending on obstacles and interference from other devices. The device provides up to 12 hours of continuous transmission or 16 hours of continuous reception use on a single charge. Battery life may vary based on usage patterns and connected devices. The device includes a USB-C charging port for convenient recharging.
